This course was so good. I have worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years and not thought about getting my license. When our company decided they want all assistants to be licensed I jumped right in. I felt confident going in to the course because of all the years of experience. Boy, was I wrong to feel that way. I learned things that I had never known before and it was a great review for those things that I did know. Having both the books and the vidoes was so helpful. When it came time to take the actual P & C exams and the State exams, I was so nervous, but I passed all three exams and am just waiting on my license.

Excellent course, truly. I passed my test! When I went in to take my test the proctor mentioned most people do not pass the first time, I stated I was going to. She asked if I took a course and who by. I said America’s Professor and the proctor said that’s good, people who take that course have a better success rate. While I had to study and retain the information, I was grateful for Jack, he laid out the course in a practical and helpful way and gave tips too. He is knowledgeable and funny. I wanted to take the time to give you some praise and feedback from your course. First of all, I passed both my Life and Health/Disability exams on my first try. I am 58 years old I have worked as a receptionist at an insurance corporation in Idaho for the past five years but had no other background in insurance unless you count being a client. This course gave me the confidence I needed to go in and pass my exams. I appreciated the stories and humor to help recall concepts that I might encounter on the test. My only suggestion is to develop a way to retake quizzes that are based questions missed. Or have a bank of mini quizzes grouped based on topics so that one could go back and quiz only on areas of weakness. I did use many other sources to review concepts the week or two prior to my exams as I wanted as large of a variety of different questions to review. I don’t think I would have passed my exams without this course, and I am very grateful and will recommend to anyone who wants to prepare for taking the exams. I invested appx 30 hours in the P&C course and the same for Life/Health (I probably overstudied for each, but passing both exams on the first pass was worth it).

I truly enjoyed this course. I passed the Accident and Health on my first attempt. I do have several years of experience under my belt for health insurance benefits but this course filled in the blanks for areas I was not familiar with. I skipped the videos because the book covered the material but I would recommend reviewing the videos if you need that extra teaching. The only thing I would recommend is updating the study guide and with the amendments so you don’t need an additional book. I would highly recommend this course and am glad I bought the material.
