The course was excellent. I felt well prepared going into the exam and would not hesitate recommending this course to anyone looking to get the P&C license. The instructor brought humor to an otherwise dry topic. After every said and done, I scored a 90% on the Washington P&C exam on 12/11/21.

How I prepared is something different than what the instructor said:
1. Since I am an auditory learner, I watched the video first, while taking detailed notes. I did not stop to take any quizzes or final exam.
2. I went back and read the book from start to finish, while taking notes on my reading. Again, I did not stop to take any quizzes or final exams.
3. Finally, I watched the video and followed along in the book, highlighting what he highlighted. After each section, I took the quizzes and exam and averaged a 94%.
4. Week before the exam, I went back and repeated Step 3, with an emphasis on Washington state regulations and codes.
5. Night before the exam, I relaxed and watch a movie with my family. At that point, I didn’t want to overload my brain with any new information.
6. Day of the exam, I had a light breakfast, got to the exam site 30 mins early and after a few deep breathes, I started the exam.

I loved this course! For not having any knowledge on P&C, I passed my big test the first time! Unfortunately, I did have to take the Idaho portion a couple times because they added extra information. Like what churning is, USC Section 1033, McCarron-Ferguson Act, etc. The Idaho test also includes life and health questions which I didn’t study as hard for. The book was still very informative and the videos helped a lot 🙂

Although some of the information was hard to understand, Americasprofessor and its instructors made it easily accessible. The content was thoroughly explained and enjoyable to listen to. The staff was quick to respond and extremely accommodating.

If you’re on the fence about taking the Property and Casualty course with America’s Professor, don’t hesitate. Please take it! You won’t regret it. I took the exam today and passed. Everything you need in order to prepare yourself for the exam is all in the information they provide. Practice test from other sites are not needed.

Don’t even THINK about taking the Property & Casualty tests without America’s Professor! They’re lifesavers! Read a chapter, hi-lite important passages, watch that video and take notes. Take the chapter quiz until you earn at least a 90. Print your test questions and answers for study purposes. Before you take THE TEST, re-read all your test questions & answers, study policy details not on the property exams, and you’re set. Taking THE TEST on your own computer at home is a great option. Professor Morton REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF! He interlaces educational material with humor that helps to recall information. The website is very easy to navigate, and the course assistants (Hello, Annie!) are wonderful. I can’t recommend America’s Professor enough.
