In my opinion you can’t go wrong with this course. I had bought another pre-licensing course and went through the whole thing but just didn’t feel as if I was adequately prepared to pass the test. I found Americas Professor and purchased their program. I went through it on my schedule and when I took the state exam I passed on the first time. I feel I was more than adequately prepared. The videos and examples are a big plus as I don’t learn well by just reading a book. If you really want your license Americas Professor is the way to go.

I passed the P and C 2 years ago using this program. I felt like Jack really helped with explaining the material well. I needed to go ahead recently and try to get my Life, Health and Annuity and again took this course. I usually have a hard time comprehending and learning for test taking but Jack makes it really easy to understand the material and his way of teaching, it not only helped me pass both test on the 1st try it also made me feel like Jack and Nancy are like family, seems like I know a lot about their decisions for Life and Health care. This is the second course I have completed from Americas Professor. Jack is a wonderful Professor and kept my attention the whole time. Reading the material alone is enough to put anyone with insomnia to sleep, but Jack has a way of making you laugh and that helps you remember the material. I took the exam for both courses only a day or two after completing the course so the material was still fresh in my head. Definitely worth the price. I passed the national/state exam on the first attempt. The national/state exam questions were worded different from the course test questions so therefore you must study and really know the material.

Honestly all the information was very overwhelming, I tried to get all the information down in under a month before school started. Jack Morton is a very awesome professor who is very intelligent in making learning easy and enjoyable. The references to cousin Eddy are very funny! they truly help understand what the true definition of a certain policy is. I started my course 07/27/2022 and finished the course 08/19/2022 and took my exam 08/24/2022 and passed. Sacrificed many things within that time period but it all paid off and I can’t thank anyone else but Jack Morton and everyone who works at Americas Professor because they are doing an excellent job teaching the information and giving the students the knowledge to pass.

YAY!!! I passed today on my second try. With that being said…. there was some issues that caused my fail the first time. My first try I scored a 68. The company that hired me had a date set for me to take the exam, no wiggle room. When I took the exam & I had not completed chapters 20-23. So, a 68 was really good considering. I retook the test and passed.
The exam is way harder than the practice test with AP. The first exam had questions that asks the definition of peril and risk, the second exam didn’t have one question.
I think it would be helpful is to memorize the glossary in the back of the book. I didn’t even see the glossary till about the 15th chapter. And I think it would be helpful to go over your states laws somewhere in the beginning. Also, both exams had several aggregate questions. My second exam had a lot of EXCEPT questions.

AP RESPONSE: Hi Sue, congrats on passing your exam! You are correct that that you must complete the entire course before testing. Be sure to also finish the last state specific chapter (24) before testing. Each exam is going to be different with different questions so it’s a must to know all the material in the course to best prepare for the randomization of questions. I got fed up with a lower-priced option that was nothing but rote regurgitation. After hours on end trying to memorize terms and concepts that never formed any kind of coherent whole, I didn’t feel at all prepared. Even though I might’ve passed, I hated the dread I was experiencing, and hated even more the prospect of “scraping by” (or maybe not even!).
I rescheduled my test and ordered the America’s Professor course.
What a difference! The videos are entertaining to watch, and thorough without belaboring anything. Right from the start I was gaining insight into the rules and terminology of the profession and how they mapped to the test. The review questions always connected to the content and really helped to make the information stick.
By the time I completed the course I had A’s on all the practice exams, and so I chilled out the night before, and just chuckled to myself when people wished me luck, because I knew I wouldn’t need it. It was even fun getting frisked and inspected before taking the test, and wondering why anyone would resort to cheating when they could just take the America’s Professor course.
I whizzed through all the questions in twenty minutes, and the proctor wondered why I was getting up, explaining “It isn’t time for a break yet.”
“No break, I’m done.” And I scored a 96. Like I said, this is the one.
This is my second time using Americas Professor for a pre-licensing course and just like my P&C I passed the exam on my very first attempt. I highly suggest using Americas Professor. I will miss Jack’s corny stories and explanations when it comes to insurance but will not miss studying.

I started studying for my Property and Casualty license with little to no experience in insurance. I recently made a career change and accepted a position that involves the handling of insurance.
