GREAT course and FANTASTIC Instructor! Jack, I loved your humor and presentation of the material. As suggested, I scheduled my state exam immediately after completing your course. I passed the Arizona Health exam on the FIRST try! For anyone considering an online study course, I highly recommend AMERICA’S PROFESSOR. You will not regret it!
I just wanted to thank you for all the course extensions and the kind words of encouragement each time I had to ask! Thanks to you all, I finally finished the course, took my AZ Property & Casualty and PASSED THE FIRST TIME!!
Thanks again for your help as I embark on a new life!!
Wonderful experience! Passed my test on the first try and now I just want to go shopping with Nancy at TJ Max! Professor Morton really makes it easy to remember with his silly little sayings and ways to remember the content! I really enjoyed this self paced course!
I have successfully passed using this online course. The videos are great and the material as well. I like the time flexibility on this online course. We are all busy with full time jobs and a family. America’s professor provided me as much time I needed. Also customer service is great. Did not have to call once. All by email and Annie has always responded to me quickly. When I had any questions or concerns Annie was there to answer them all.
It took me a few videos to decide to change the audio pace to 1.5x’s to hurry things along. I took the sample test right afterward and then reviewed the test thoroughly and then retook it if I got less than 90% on the first sample test. Passed the actual state exam the first time… with plenty of room to spare.
I highly recommend using Americas professors if you need to pass the insurance Property and Casualty exam. I studied 3-4 hours a day for about 3 weeks and was able to pass the exam on my first attempt. I cannot thank Americas professors enough. The videos and following along in the book are a perfect combo, and to help retain the info the practice test help a lot.
I am an all in-kind-of-person. When I decided to get into the insurance industry, I wanted to be licensed in all lines and as soon as possible. I ordered both courses, Health, Sickness and Life and Accident as well as Property Casualty. I studied about 8 hours per day for 9 days. Several senior agents tried to dissuade me from doing this. But the course is so well laid out, actually easy to follow and understand. And when I got stuck on something, I watched the video lectures. I loved the sense of humor- helped to recall several items, same with the mnemonic aides. I received the study guide from a large national insurance company. It was so convoluted, I tossed it. This course is all you need. Put in the time, make sure you understand and don’t just memorize. I passed both exams, took them the same day, with Health and Life 88 score and Property and Casualty 86. Do it! America’s Professor Students PASS
This course was great. Jack explained the information well and by far well enough to pass the exam. I was able to pass first time with an 89%. If jacks pace is a little slow for you I recommend putting his videos on 1.5x speed then reviewing the highlighted material once you get through the course. Also I wouldn’t move on unless you can get at least a 90% on each sections’ quiz. Try to understand the concepts not memorize the questions because the state test is worded different but the concepts apply the same. Overall great course and served it’s purpose.
America’s Professor was top notch in every way. Jack is hilarious and his teaching and examples are memorable to help recall information during the actual exam. The support I received from Pat was way above and beyond my wildest imagination. He was prompt at getting back to me on my questions and called me daily, the 5 days leading up to my test to give me helpful tips and clarification. He even gave me his cell phone number in case I had questions after hours. I am happy to report I passed my exam the first time with an 86%. Thank you, America’s Professor, for making such a stressful time so much such easier. I am so grateful!
I needed to prepare of the Arizona Life & Health Licensing exam. It’s a test that is known for being the hardest of all the states. If you taking multiple lines (life and health) it blends the topics together AND changes terms like calling health insurance in one question then calling it disability in another question THEN asking a question that is strictly for disability income insurance. You may want to sign up for one insurance license exam at a time instead of taking one test for multiple licenses.
I wanted to move into another area in my career which means getting my insurance license! A few years ago I had attempted the test and failed (took it three times and failed them all). The first test prep course that was recommended by the company was horrible the video exams were crap (bad audio) and the text contradicted itself.
I was determined to pass this exam! THANK YOU for creating this course watching the videos and the reviews in the chapter helped me understand the terms and the relationship to insurance. For the first time when I did section reviews I was making 90% and over on the reviews. When I went for the test I didn’t feel panicked because I didn’t feel ready.
I PASSED! I was so excited when I saw the words passed on the screen that I was shaking with excitement and relief. I kept telling EVERYONE that day that I passed my insurance licensing exam! This course is absolutely worth the money!!
Thanks to Jack and his crew, I passed my Arizona P and C license on the first attempt!! The course includes everything you need. I was very impressed at the teaching techniques Jack uses, as I am a horrible test taker. He makes it fun to look forward to jump into class every morning and by test time, he somewhat has become a virtual family member! I have only had a few great teachers in my life, and he is definitely one of them!! If I ever decide to pursue additional insurance licenses, America’s Professor will be my one and only choice for exam prep!! Well worth the investment!!
I just want to say that this test [course] was the cause of me passing the Life-Health exam and I soooooo appreciate Jack’s awesome instructional skills.
He takes his time through the material and wants you to get it.
I really appreciated that and passed the test with flying colors!!!!!

How To Pass
To become an insurance agent in Arizona, you need to have the appropriate license. To get your license, you must pass the Arizona insurance licensing exam.
If you’re like most candidates, you probably have lots of questions. How hard is the exam, what score do you need to pass, and how do you sign up?
The team at America’s Professor has answers to all these questions and more.
For more than 30 years, we’ve been helping students across the country prepare for their state licensing exams. Our comprehensive Arizona insurance license exam prep courses teach you everything you need to know to pass your exam.
Keep reading for answers to common questions about the Arizona insurance licensing exam.
Is the Arizona exam difficult?
All of the insurance licensing exams are challenging. Whether you’re going for your Property and Casualty insurance license or your Life & Health license, the exams are designed to test your knowledge of key insurance terms and concepts.
Test authors often use subtle tactics to throw you off, like turning a question into a negative or writing confusing answer choices. Even without these added obstacles, the exams are tough.
Insurance is full of jargon and tricky concepts that are not common knowledge. The only surefire way to correctly answer the questions on the exam is to be well prepared. That means devoting plenty of time to learning the material.
How many questions are on the Arizona insurance exam?
The number of questions varies for each exam.
Single line of authority exams (e.g., Life or Property) have 100 questions and a time limit of 2 hours. Combo exams (e.g., Life, Accident & Health, or Property & Casualty) have 150 questions and a time limit of 2.5 hours.
See the Arizona test content outlines for more information about the number of questions on each exam and the time limits, available at https://www.prometric.com/arizona/insurance.
What score do I need to pass?
In Arizona, you need a score of 70 to pass the exam. There are two parts to the exam: a national section and a state-specific section. You need a score of 70 on both parts to pass—the scores are not averaged together.
Most students say the state-specific portion is harder since it tends to deal with trivial state laws and regulations.
Your exam will be scored on the spot. You will know right away whether you passed. But you will not be told which questions you got right or wrong.
If you don’t pass on your first try, you can sign up to take the test again after a mandatory waiting period—usually 1-3 days.
What kinds of questions are on the exam?
The questions on the exam are multiple choice. There are no short answer or fill-in-the-blank questions. But this doesn’t mean they’re easy or intuitive.
The exams cover industry-specific terms like “indemnity” and “modified perils.” You’ll need to know things like what an “unendorsed DP-3 policy” is. Or what the different types of homeowner’s insurance policies cover. These things aren’t common knowledge.
Our students report that around 1/3 of the questions are on terminology, 1/3 are number/day questions, and 1/3 are situational questions.
The questions are chosen from a large pool, and each exam contains a different set of questions—you will not see the exact same questions as other students.
Can I take the exam online?
You may be eligible to take a proctored exam through Prometric, the company that administers the Arizona exams. Proctored means someone monitors you through your computer’s webcam while you take the exam.
Learn more about proctored exams and whether your exam is eligible at https://www.prometric.com/proproctorcandidate.
What is the best way to study?
The experts at America’s Professor recommend that you start studying at least 2 weeks before your scheduled exam date. Dedicate 35-40 hours to studying. This is the typical length of an in-person course, and it’s the amount of time most students need to fully grasp the material.
Find a quiet, distraction-free place to study, and put yourself on a strict study schedule. Continue studying right up until the day of your exam, but don’t cram a few days before the exam. Research shows this is the worst way to study.
If you’re a visual learner, take notes and highlight pertinent information. Use any tools you find helpful, like index cards.
Should I take an exam prep course?
Yes. Taking an exam prep course for your state will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try. You can check here for our full guide on How to Pass the Arizona Insurance Licensing Exam.
Don’t settle for low-quality study guides or practice quizzes you find online. If you Google “Arizona property and casualty insurance license practice test” or “Arizona life and health insurance study guide,” you’re bound to get lots of search results, but very few comprehensive study solutions.
America’s Professor specifically designs the courses to teach you everything you need to know to pass your exam.

I wanted to give a quick shout out about America’s Professor course! I pay for the full bells & whistle’s for the Kaplan Health & Accident course but into the 3rd chapter (honestly) I hated the way the instructor taught in the video’s couldn’t follow very well so i switched to America’s Professor’s course and he was so much easier to follow. and I just passed my State License Test and wanted to thank you all so much!
