Utah Allstate Insurance Pre-Licensing

Re: Individual Life Insurance Producer — The course took me longer than I expected (nearly 3 weeks of 8 hour days) but the result was worthwhile. I passed my Utah state exam not just with an A grade but also in half the time allocated (much to the surprise of the testing center and myself).

I’m not particularly brilliant or good at classwork or test-taking. My results were due to the AP curriculum. If I can do it, anyone can.

What seemed to help me most were the videos and examples of “Jack and Nancy.” No matter how fictional or playful, using examples to illustrate a principle or concept was very helpful and made it stick in my mind.

I have taken both the life and health as well as the property and casually courses from America’s professor. Utilizing their study materials, I passed both tests with flying colors and I passed both tests within three weeks of starting them. I passed the property & casualty exam with a 93% and I answered all 156 questions in one hour and 10 minutes. They truly do teach you all the material required to pass the tests!!! I cannot recommend them enough.

The videos are pretty outdated. I passed on my second attempt. I wish this licensing course had all their review question quizzes be four available responses because all the exam multiple choice questions have four responses. The feedback from not passing on the first attempt was helpful, however, it felt a little generic. Overall, this is a good pre-licensing course.

AP RESPONSE: Thanks for the feedback Tanner. We update videos as they need to be which some don’t so I can see where some of them could be seen as old. We are however re-filming a new couse with a new book  (same content just organized differently) so that should be available soon. As for the questions, Jack likes to teach with some two-stem questions from time-to-time to reinforce his points. I will let him know for the next version of the course. 

I passed the course on my first attempt with a 90% thanks to America’s Professor. The practice tests were very helpful and being able to listen to sections that I struggled with multiple times while driving to work really helped. This course really helped me and out of 4 coworkers who took the test and used other methods, I scored the highest!

Incredibly detailed course that went over everything needed to pass! Lessons were broken down into easily digestible bits that made it easy to understand. Would absolutely recommend this course!

Passed the exam on the first try today! This course was extremely helpful. Really enjoyed how he made it fun with this humor during the lessons. I will definitely be using his courses again when do the life insurance part.

I passed with the best grades! It was a great constant effort but definitely it worthy it! I learned a lot and the most important is I enjoyed practicing again and again!

I just passed the test on my first try and it’s the second license I’ll get thanks to this platform.

Imagine my horror of sitting down in the testing center and finding questions and material that didn’t even remotely look like the online lectures or books! I could not believe that I was forced to select answers on pure speculation because it wasn’t covered. I feel disappointed, angry, and ripped off. The online lectures seemed old and dated with anecdotal examples that missed the mark. State specific information was breezed over with a “this will be on the test” (almost none of them were). Next time I will be using a more professional test preparation company (Kaplan?). So if anyone has taken the time to actually read this, your probably thinking “he’s just mad because he didn’t pass”. Wrong! I did pass, no thanks to Americas Professor!

AP Response: Sorry to hear our course wasn’t right for you Mark, wish we would have know a little sooner but glad to hear you passed your exam! It’s a lot of material with a lot of potential exam question combinations. All we can do is teach the incredibly exciting topics of insurance and hope they stick with you for the exam, which it sounds like they did. This course is very user friendly, easy to work at your own pace. I passed on my first try!

But more impressive is your ability to turn a rather boring and dry subject into a much fun and interesting experience!

I completed the course and passed my exam in 3 weeks. The course gave me a great foundation of Life & Health insurance. I received a true class room experience virtually. The Jack and Nancy stories helped me retain the information, really good stuff. I will definitely be back if I choose to add more licensure.

100% recommend Americas Professor! I had gone through the entire WebCE Property and Casualty insurance course before this one. It seemed to make everything harder to understand. Using WebCE I failed my first attempt on the exam. I then found Americas Professor, I went through the whole course and passed the exam afterwards! Jack really simplifies things and makes everything easier to understand. If you’re thinking about buying this course I would fully recommend it to anyone trying to pass.

I have used America’s Professor now for my Life, health, Property, and Casualty exam preparation. Because of the great work they do I have been able to pass each exam on the first attempt. The teaching videos are great and easy to follow along in with in the textbook they provide. I highly recommend America’s Professor for all your insurance pre-licensing needs!
