I honestly can say that Jack did so good. Explained everything that I needed to know. I might not have passed on my first try, but studied for another week and took it again and passed with flying colors.!! Thank you so much!! Now to continue bettering myself and become a notary as well.!!! Thank you again!!

I passed the test on the first attempt. Thank you for the customer service and support. It took me some time to complete the course and I found the material to be challenging with so much to learn. Professor Morton explained it well and I thought the first part of the P&C test was not too difficult. It was the second part that was very challenging.

The Course content was excellent and well taught however I have called in several times about the self study questions not loading properly and also the questions being squeezed so that I cannot answer all of them. This is so frustrating. It causes me to miss questions and also I have to go back and load this section two or three times before it shows up and then, there is the cumbersome part o having to work within a squeezed small area. I am not happy with this result.

AP RESPONSE: Hi There, Sorry you had a difficult time with the quizzes. I remember talking to you regarding your router issues and wireless signal strength. Unfortunately we have no control over our student’s computer systems. Our quizzes are one of those items that save instantly so if there is a break in your internet connection there can be a problem. Also, if you’ve changed your computer’s display setting to zoom in, it can require that you zoom out a little while taking your quizzes. This issue is covered on the Help/FAQ page in your course or you can always feel free to give us a call and we will try to help with our recommendations (just like the pesky Windows 10 side notifications you were receiving 😉 ). Please let us know if you have any other concerns or questions. Take care.

Information was helpful. But it took me 2 times to pass my exam.

AP RESPONSE: Congrats Michelle on passing your exam! If you take another course from us please be sure to follow our study guide and finish the online portion of the course. The videos and review questions are a big addition to the print materials. 😉

You definitely learn by watching the videos and taking all the pre-tests. The best part was the grades on the chapter tests to let you know your weak spots. I passed the Property and Casualty test my first try. I myself, would have liked it better at a faster pace and concentrated more on the key points.
Thanks!

Thanks AP! I couldn’t have done it without out you. I did feel like there were a few more foreign concepts then I expected. Especially in the state portion. I made sure I scored a 95 or higher on all the chapter review questions, final exam and state portion of the course. Overall, I will definitely recommend this course.

AP RESPONSE: The test center will always have trial questions so always expect a few “out there” questions. 😉 Congrats on passing!

During the State portion (MO) I definitely started to panic and felt completely unprepared. Most questions seemed like foreign concepts that weren’t even touched on. That said, I guess it couldn’t have been too terrible, because I passed on the first try. All in all, very good course and would definitely recommend it!

AP RESPONSE: Those test writers can be tricky but it sounds like you knew enough to navigate the questions and succeed! 😉 Congrats!

How To Pass

The information on the exams is challenging, and the material covered is not common knowledge. Following AP’s course study guide (included with each course) will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try.

Here is what AP recommends, based on our decades of experience:

  • Watch all course lectures in order while highlighting and taking notes on our instructor’s key points to remember. Replay any videos you didn’t understand.
  • Understand the content well enough to score at least 90% on chapter quizzes. Your first attempt at a quiz will tell you how well you are comprehending the materials.
  • Take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the course. The longer you wait, the more you will forget.
  • Check for course updates before testing.

ASK questions if you have them!
