I want to express my sincere appreciation to Professor Jack Morton at America Professor for the exemplary Property and Casualty Prelicensing and Adjuster for Property and Casualty course. Although I began studying for the license in May 2024, it was not until I experienced a job layoff in August 2024 that I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to the course. Professor Morton adeptly deconstructed each chapter, rendering the content comprehensible, and his use of real-life scenarios greatly facilitated retention of the material during examinations. An unconventional approach I adopted was to listen to the course materials while driving and subsequently reinforce the learning by reading the book at home and following along with the videos. Undoubtedly, this has been the most beneficial course I have ever undertaken, and I recommend this course 1000% to anyone who wants to pass their prelicensing on the first try.
This class was a very easy to follow along with and I went and passed my test on the first try, The videos were a big help to me and I sure am glad I picked this course to get me qualified to launch my insurance business. Hello! I started my P&C Course the beginning of July, and I went ahead and scheduled my exam for this past Wednesday July 18th! I passed thanks to AP! The technique that Dr. Morton teaches with is just so easy and understanding. Going ahead and scheduling your exam gives you more pressure and determination to get the course done! Honestly unless this stuff is easy to learn in general… it was super easy and I retained everything very well! I will be taking my Life and Health on AP too! Oh and the test questions that AP gives you were very similar to taking my actual exam!
This course REALLY does work. I took about two weeks to get all the content and quizzes done. I took the test a couple days after I finished the course and passed on the first attempt. Everyone I know that has taken the test before me had to take it multiple times. They were all shocked that I passed on the first attempt after taking this course. I passed my exam this morning. The process from doing the course, to scheduling the exam, and applying for my license, was very easy. The verbiage of the actual exam was a bit different than the course’ tests. However, if you study and pay attention to the lectures, you will understand the material no matter how it may be worded. There were 105 questions on the national and 30 on state (as of May 2024). You get 150 minutes to take both sections. Good luck to everyone and I hope you do as well as I had. Here’s the deal … America’s Professor TEACHES the content students need to know to pass their license exam. The lecture videos are the heart and soul of our courses. We only use questions as a tool to gauge how well students understand the material they have been taught. Chapter quizzes, on average, have around 20 to 40 questions. After each chapter, we get one chance to test your knowledge to see what you know. The first time you take a quiz gives you a pretty accurate assessment of how well you know the information in that chapter. If you scored 50% you probably know 50% of the content in that chapter (better go back and rewatch the lecture videos!).
Memorizing the answers to the questions you got wrong and then retaking the quiz doesn’t mean you know and understand the content you missed. You will fail the license exam if you simply just try to memorize questions. Their questions will always be differently worded but over the same content. Knowing the content well enough to be able to teach it to someone else is the best way to prepare for your exam. Please trust our proven path to success.

How To Pass
The information on the exams is challenging, and the material covered is not common knowledge. Following AP’s course study guide (included with each course) will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try.
Here is what AP recommends, based on our decades of experience:
- Watch all course lectures in order while highlighting and taking notes on our instructor’s key points to remember. Replay any videos you didn’t understand.
- Understand the content well enough to score at least 90% on chapter quizzes. Your first attempt at a quiz will tell you how well you are comprehending the materials.
- Take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the course. The longer you wait, the more you will forget.
- Check for course updates before testing.

Jack is an attorney who has also taught insurance and real estate law for 27 years. In addition to being a retired professor at the University of Montana’s School of Business, Jack has taught numerous real estate, banking and legal seminars. He is well known for his ability to make complicated legal concepts understandable to non-lawyers.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to Professor Jack Morton at America Professor for the exemplary Property and Casualty Prelicensing and Adjuster for Property and Casualty course. Although I began studying for the license in May 2024, it was not until I experienced a job layoff in August 2024 that I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to the course. Professor Morton adeptly deconstructed each chapter, rendering the content comprehensible, and his use of real-life scenarios greatly facilitated retention of the material during examinations. An unconventional approach I adopted was to listen to the course materials while driving and subsequently reinforce the learning by reading the book at home and following along with the videos. Undoubtedly, this has been the most beneficial course I have ever undertaken, and I recommend this course 1000% to anyone who wants to pass their prelicensing on the first try.

I find Jack enjoyable and funny but in ways that help us learn this Insurance product. The acronyms help along with the stories about Nancy. I passed my P&C on my first try and now am prepping for the Life & Health. This part seems harder, and I pray I pass. I am an older lady, and memorization is a more difficult now.

Hello! I started my P&C Course the beginning of July, and I went ahead and scheduled my exam for this past Wednesday July 18th! I passed thanks to AP! The technique that Dr. Morton teaches with is just so easy and understanding. Going ahead and scheduling your exam gives you more pressure and determination to get the course done! Honestly unless this stuff is easy to learn in general… it was super easy and I retained everything very well! I will be taking my Life and Health on AP too! Oh and the test questions that AP gives you were very similar to taking my actual exam!
This course REALLY does work. I took about two weeks to get all the content and quizzes done. I took the test a couple days after I finished the course and passed on the first attempt. Everyone I know that has taken the test before me had to take it multiple times. They were all shocked that I passed on the first attempt after taking this course. Thanks for making such a great course that allowed me to pass on the first attempt.
I finished the course in two months and was able to pass the exam on the first try! In the first video, I loved the way you emphasized, “Together we will get thru this exam.” As I had a full-time job (in another industry), I studied in the evenings, it took me three weeks to complete the course. I scheduled the exam for one week after completing the course, so I could review, review, review !
Studying does not come easy to me, but the videos, PDF’s, Workbook and Jack’s teaching style made all the difference and was my key to passing the test on the 1st try ! I Just loved Jack’s delivery !

I passed my exam this morning. The process from doing the course, to scheduling the exam, and applying for my license, was very easy. The verbiage of the actual exam was a bit different than the course’ tests. However, if you study and pay attention to the lectures, you will understand the material no matter how it may be worded. There were 105 questions on the national and 30 on state (as of May 2024). You get 150 minutes to take both sections. Good luck to everyone and I hope you do as well as I had.
