To the students that are studying, P&C may feel overwhelming and maybe even impossible at first, (especially if you’re like me and had no prior knowledge) but if you apply yourself, it is absolutely attainable! Make sure you pay attention and actually understand the concepts. And like the course says, make sure you get a 90% or above on the quizzes before you move on. I always went back and reviewed a question with the book when I missed it, to insure I understood why. If you follow what Professor Jack says, you’ll be golden!!
This course is tailored to give you the best outcome. The quizzes are extremely helpful and wrong answers can be reviewed and learned from. Life happens and I procrastinated far to long. They are wonderful about giving extensions. My advice to you would be, set the test date, stay focused, get er’ done! Good luck!
Passed with a 91% on my first attempt! This course was wonderful – I’m not sure how it’s possible to make learning insurance interesting, but Jack did just that. His real world examples and humor made learning and retaining difficult concepts much easier. The way he tied specific concepts to tangible examples really helped me actually understand the material. I just passed my exam with 78 % . I have no experience on insurance. but the key point is to check over and over all questions test at the end of every chapter. some questions are similar samples and helps our brain to remember. in definition this is a good course.
Wow I have not been in a classroom for over 29 years and from what numerous people told me this test will be one of the most difficult test I will ever take. Well Americas Professor proved that to be not true especially when you’re being taught by the very sharp and clever named Professor Jack k. Morton. It reminded me of this guy that would go in a phone booth and come out a completely different person stronger, confident and more intelligent.

The information on the exams is challenging, and the material covered is not common knowledge. Following AP’s course study guide (included with each course) will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try.
Here is what AP recommends, based on our decades of experience:
- Watch all course lectures in order while highlighting and taking notes on our instructor’s key points to remember. Replay any videos you didn’t understand.
- Understand the content well enough to score at least 90% on chapter quizzes. Your first attempt at a quiz will tell you how well you are comprehending the materials.
- Take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the course. The longer you wait, the more you will forget.
- Check for course updates before testing.

I cannot believe I passed on my first attempt. I thought halfway through the first section of the exam I was for sure failing. Had it not been for Jack and his explanations, I wouldn’t have.
