I confirm all the positives everyone else said about the course. The material is well organized, easy to follow, and presented as interestingly as humanly possible. Professor Morton has a unique sense of humor and we now have a fictitious Nancy to help us remember bits and pieces as we continue in the insurance industry. The printed manual (now resembling an adult coloring book due to my highlights) made referencing easy when technology was inaccessible. One can find various time saving links on the dashboard to facilitate the license application process. It was easy to get a course extension due to unforeseen circumstances and customer service was always friendly and encouraging. If one follows the instructions given throughout the course, a passing grade on the first try is highly probable.

I took both the P&C as well as the Life, Accident, & Sickness courses for my state and passed both first try, definitely thanks to America’s Professor. Jack does a great job of giving you the info you need and delivering it in a manner that helps you remember most things, usually by way of some excellent dry humor.
Do not hesitate to use America’s Professor should you be in the market for a pre-licensing course or any course that they have available, for that matter.
Started the course on 11/19 and stayed with it each day. The information is rolled out properly with Jack, all you need to do is study to learn and not to memorize only. I passed the P&C yesterday, (12/4) on my first attempt. Some parts however are ok and recommended by Jack to memorize. Follow his lead and you will be fine.

I decided to make a career change and have absolutely no experience with insurance. I spent a lot of time researching pre-licensing courses and I felt America’s Professor was the best choice for me. I took my licensing exam today and passed on my first try! I was very well prepared for the exam – Professor Morton was wonderful and I enjoyed his teaching style and little stories about Nancy. At certain points during the exam I could hear Professor Morton’s voice in my head and his mnemonic devices were very helpful. I want to express my sincere appreciation to Professor Jack Morton at America Professor for the exemplary Property and Casualty Prelicensing and Adjuster for Property and Casualty course. Although I began studying for the license in May 2024, it was not until I experienced a job layoff in August 2024 that I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to the course. Professor Morton adeptly deconstructed each chapter, rendering the content comprehensible, and his use of real-life scenarios greatly facilitated retention of the material during examinations. An unconventional approach I adopted was to listen to the course materials while driving and subsequently reinforce the learning by reading the book at home and following along with the videos. Undoubtedly, this has been the most beneficial course I have ever undertaken, and I recommend this course 1000% to anyone who wants to pass their prelicensing on the first try.
This class was a very easy to follow along with and I went and passed my test on the first try, The videos were a big help to me and I sure am glad I picked this course to get me qualified to launch my insurance business. Great job Jack what a great down to earth presenter and loved the examples the most. I really enjoyed the course thanks again.

I find Jack enjoyable and funny but in ways that help us learn this Insurance product. The acronyms help along with the stories about Nancy. I passed my P&C on my first try and now am prepping for the Life & Health. This part seems harder, and I pray I pass. I am an older lady, and memorization is a more difficult now.

How To Pass
The information on the exams is challenging, and the material covered is not common knowledge. Following AP’s course study guide (included with each course) will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try.
Here is what AP recommends, based on our decades of experience:
- Watch all course lectures in order while highlighting and taking notes on our instructor’s key points to remember. Replay any videos you didn’t understand.
- Understand the content well enough to score at least 90% on chapter quizzes. Your first attempt at a quiz will tell you how well you are comprehending the materials.
- Take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the course. The longer you wait, the more you will forget.
- Check for course updates before testing.
