Couldn’t believe I had to go “back to school” after so many years. I was unsure how my brain would react to stuffing so much information into it in such a short period of time. Needless to say, this course made the studying and the exam truly a piece of cake! Professor Morton was clear, concise and to the point in each chapter as to what we needed to know for the exam. I particularly enjoyed his use of the white board through out to highlight key concepts and points. The practice questions at the end of each chapter as well as the unit review and final exam questions were invaluable in preparing to take the state exam. Highly recommend this course!

America’s Professor was top notch in every way. Jack is hilarious and his teaching and examples are memorable to help recall information during the actual exam. The support I received from Pat was way above and beyond my wildest imagination. He was prompt at getting back to me on my questions and called me daily, the 5 days leading up to my test to give me helpful tips and clarification. He even gave me his cell phone number in case I had questions after hours. I am happy to report I passed my exam the first time with an 86%. Thank you, America’s Professor, for making such a stressful time so much such easier. I am so grateful!

America’s Professor is the best prelicensing course. I would recommend to everyone.
I studied the course for 21 days, took the TX state exam right after the course and passed at first try with 84%. I enjoyed Jack’s examples especially “cousin Ed.” Hahhh.
Thank you Mr. Jack Morton. You are the best, and indeed America’s professor. Big up AP.

Just passed my test yesterday. On my first try again. The PC question bank is closer to the real test comparing to the LH. Which building confidence for me throughout the exam. Even they ask for only 1% of what I learned from Jack and within that 1% knowledge, only half of the questions match the test bank. So, preparing to be disappointed because if you have photographic memory like me, memorize Jack’s lessons word by word, won’t be helpful. They didn’t ask about the FIMA, FAIR, Surplus, TWIA, …. and many more that I memorized so clear. In facts, they ask questions that you would know if you already worked in the field such as how many days, how many miles, and those random numbers of when to submit a form, when to paid claims, days notice from hearing … Also, there are terms that I don’t remember Jack mentioned like time elements, constructive loss, open value. The choices are sure trying to confuse you (installation sale, installation, installation dealer). Some questions are so vague that my only clue is looking at the choices and guessing. My tips would be rewrite the questions on the scrapbook that they provide while eliminating the wordy and unnecessary information in the sentences. If only one supplier for the manufacture, what loss is it? What ocean marine do to prevent carrier from take advantage of the policy? What insurer do is unfair? Difference between estoppel and waiver? TDI hearing is NOT? These are just my translations, real questions are far more wordy and confusing. Good luck to everyone. If you choose Jack as your professor, you are 80% pass. I got my licenses in All lines Adjuster with PC course, and General lines insurance agent with LH course all thanks to him. Now is time to find a job!
AP RESPONSE: Congrats Rose on passing your exam! It is very important that future students reading this review know we highly discourage any type of question memorization. I so wish I had a photographic memory but the reality is most of us don’t and the purpose of an exam is to test your knowledge, not regurgitate information. Each time you go in to take a licensing exam you will see different questions and likely from different topics. One exam might ask about FEMA and Surplus lines while the other may not. We assume each licensing exam provider has at least 50 variations of each exam question crossing every topic on the Test Content Outline. That’s why it is so important to know the content well enough to be able to make your best educated guess on all the potentially tested on items. There is no exception to learning the content! Be sure to watch and understand our lecture videos, use our questions to gauge your comprehension of the content and then reach out if you have any questions. 🙂
