Is the Arizona Insurance Exam Difficult?

If you’re planning to take an insurance licensing exam in Arizona, you want to know what to expect. Each exam presents its own challenges.

The Accident & Health exam tends to be more difficult for students than the Life exam. That’s because health insurance policies are more complicated than life insurance policies.

The Property exam deals with issues like fire, flooding, and earthquakes, which are pretty easy to understand. The Casualty exam, on the other hand, deals with more complicated issues, like liability insurance.

No matter which exam you take, the test will have two sections:

  • A state-specific section, which covers state rules and regulations; this tends to be the more challenging part of the exam.
  • A national section, which covers insurance laws more broadly and is usually easier than the state-specific section.

All the questions on the exams are multiple choice, so you won’t have to worry about memorizing fill-in answers. Read more about how to pass the Arizona insurance exam.
