I absolutely loved this course! I passed this Test as well as my Life and Health text the first try! I have never really been good at test taking and was sure I would have to take the test at least one more time but I passed with flying colors! As long as you buckle down and really absorb the knowledge you will do great! I recommended this course to three other new hires and only one had to retake the test but she said she learns better in a classroom setting and if his classes were taught in Texas she would have loved to go. I watched the videos for a week. Read the book for a week and took exams and then spent eight hours on Saturday and Sunday each last weekend took the test on Monday.
It can be tricky my test mainly had definitions and CGL, but no marine no inland marine, barely any business auto and only a few questions on homeowners.
AP RESPONSE: Nice job passing with a great score! Each time you take the exam it can focus on different questions so it’s important to study all of the material just in case…

I passed on my first attempt at the exam today thanks to how much this study material prepared me for the test. The videos were easy to follow along with. The texts were to the point. Lastly, the practice exams were very similar to the real test!
After taking and passing the national & state parts of the licensing exam on my first attempt, I have to say that there would be no way of having done so without the help of AP’s online course. It took me six weeks of viewing the videos (all the while following and highlighting), summarizing the info on my own notebook, reviewing notes before taking each chapters’ quiz, and then going over each quiz after taking them. I’ve been an educator for 31 years! Thus, I don’t know how all of the course material could be covered in three 8-hr, in-person, sessions as advertised. On a negative note, I emailed a concern/question about course material and have YET to receive a response. Other than that, if this old man can do it, so can you if you’re still on the fence about purchasing access to AP’s course offerings.

How To Pass
The information on the exams is challenging, and the material covered is not common knowledge. Following AP’s course study guide (included with each course) will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try.
Here is what AP recommends, based on our decades of experience:
- Watch all course lectures in order while highlighting and taking notes on our instructor’s key points to remember. Replay any videos you didn’t understand.
- Understand the content well enough to score at least 90% on chapter quizzes. Your first attempt at a quiz will tell you how well you are comprehending the materials.
- Take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the course. The longer you wait, the more you will forget.
- Check for course updates before testing.

I absolutely loved this course! I passed this Test as well as my Life and Health text the first try! I have never really been good at test taking and was sure I would have to take the test at least one more time but I passed with flying colors! As long as you buckle down and really absorb the knowledge you will do great! The course was easy to follow and as engaging as it could be when talking about property and casualty insurance. I had an issue with the textbook being damaged in the mail and they immediately sent a new one, no questions asked. I was able to pass the test with a 93% on my first try! The class is excellent. I highly recommend it. I live in Texas and just got out of the test. Scored a 90.
I watched the videos for a week. Read the book for a week and took exams and then spent eight hours on Saturday and Sunday each last weekend took the test on Monday.
It can be tricky my test mainly had definitions and CGL, but no marine no inland marine, barely any business auto and only a few questions on homeowners.
AP RESPONSE: Nice job passing with a great score! Each time you take the exam it can focus on different questions so it’s important to study all of the material just in case…

I passed on my first attempt at the exam today thanks to how much this study material prepared me for the test. The videos were easy to follow along with. The texts were to the point. Lastly, the practice exams were very similar to the real test!
After taking and passing the national & state parts of the licensing exam on my first attempt, I have to say that there would be no way of having done so without the help of AP’s online course. It took me six weeks of viewing the videos (all the while following and highlighting), summarizing the info on my own notebook, reviewing notes before taking each chapters’ quiz, and then going over each quiz after taking them. I’ve been an educator for 31 years! Thus, I don’t know how all of the course material could be covered in three 8-hr, in-person, sessions as advertised. On a negative note, I emailed a concern/question about course material and have YET to receive a response. Other than that, if this old man can do it, so can you if you’re still on the fence about purchasing access to AP’s course offerings.

This is my second time going through America’s Professor and it is far and away the best course. Professor Morton does a great job at making a topic such as insurance enjoyable to learn about. I have passed both exams I have taken now on the first attempts.
Be aware, however, if you expect to pass your exam it is MANDATORY that you read the materials they send you.
