Amazing. I had tried another course before, but they would force me to read the material online, and getting their books or anything like that was a lot more expensive.
I have ADHD, sitting down and watching a video is hard for me. Americas Professor provides the books at no extra cost, so I was able to study in a way that would allow my brain to process the material.
The extensions a no extra cost took a lot of the pressure off my shoulders, that shows that America´s Professor´s main goal is to help you pass, not about making money out of you.
I took the test without pressure or stress, and very little nerves, because I knew I could review the material where I had felt weak. I did pass on my first try though.

I passed my exam on the first try with a 92!! Prof. Morton’s examples are downright silly sometimes but they work! The way the chapters are broken up, the quizzes, the examples, I felt prepared!

This course was well worth the expense. I completed all the lessons and quizzes. Then when I took the final exam, I made notes of topics that I was not comfortable with, and went back and studied those topics. I passed the exam, with a score of 91.3%, on the first try. Thank you to all those that put these courses together. It was thorough, and well laid out.

Videos and references are outdated. Digresses and uses odd examples. Had to switch to a competitor to truly understand the material. The customer service team was very snarky as well. I should have requested the refund after that experience.

AP RESPONSE: Hi Michael, I guess our course isn’t for everyone! After seeing the email you sent us, I can see why you may have considered our reply snarky. Please feel free to send back your materials for a refund. Our hope is that students are able to know fairly quickly if the course isn’t going to work for them, and we can get them on the right track ASAP. Regardless, glad you were able to find a method that worked for you.

So thankful for America’s Professor and the wonderful exam prep. I highly recommend these courses! I can’t say that enough. I came into this with a VERY basic understanding of Insurance. I took both the Life & Health courses as stated and I felt comfortable with how the instruction was delivered and I saw great results as I continued along.

As recommended for Arizona, I took the Life test first and passed with a 91% and just took the Health test and passed easily as well. I went from knowing nothing about Insurance , and often confused, to a confident, soon to be Producer!

Passed on my first attempt! I love the video/book hybrid approach. The best part is that AP stuck with me over a long period of time. Life happens, and every time I requested an extension, Annie was on it!

I have been in the insurance business since 1990, but after retiring, I let my California Life/Health Insurance license lapse. Recently, I decided to re-enter the industry due to a new business opportunity, which required me to get licensed in Arizona and pass the exam there. The course I took was excellent and really helped refresh my knowledge.

After hours of studying, I faced the exam three times and unfortunately didn’t pass. Then came Pat to the rescue! He guided me through my studies, working with me daily to identify and strengthen my weaknesses. Pat is an outstanding instructor who makes learning fun, which really helped me retain the material.

Thanks to Pat’s support, I finally passed my exam! and will always be grateful for his wonderful coaching and help. Thank you, Pat!

While i took course, i thought it was meticulous and doing a thorough job explaining why certain rules and regulations were applied. I did the practice quizes and got A’s across the board. I knew all the information from the course backwards and forwards. I read reviews about how the test questions were almost word-for-word. Felt confident. To my horror, i didnt recognize hardly ANY of the material on the actual exam, nor did i find any word-for-word questions. I made assumptions and guessed for the entire test aside from maybe 5/155 questions. I feel like i wasted my time and money. Highly dissatisfied.

AP RESPONSE: Hi Sam, Sorry to hear you did not pass your exam. Unfortunately, reviews often say “word-for-word” and while I think it’s generally because students followed the course study guide and know the material so well, it can give others the impression we have the test company’s questions (we do not!). Course providers all work off the same test content outlines and have to teach the material that is needed to be learned. We can not stress enough that students should not memorize questions, but should instead complete their entire course and know the material being tested on inside and out. Looking over your course utilization I would recommend completing the lecture videos in your course and not relying so heavily on test questions. If you score 46% on a quiz and then follow it up shortly after with 100%, it generally means you memorized the quiz questions. We would still assume you didn’t know roughly half the material you were quizzed on and should go back to the lecture videos in that chapter. If you have questions please feel free to reach out. We are happy to help! 😉 . FUTURE STUDENTS: Be sure to follow your study guide and complete the entire course before testing for the best possible chance of passing your exams on the first try.

Jack does make the course material much more fun with his humor. I did use other supplemental prep material to solidify all of the knowledge, but America’s Professor is probably the biggest reason why I passed the Life, Accident and Health exam on my first try. Thanks Jack and staff at America’s Professor! Great customer service too!

I had originally taken a different course (ExamFX) and NONE of the information stuck in my head. I finally found America’s Professor with the videos and the text book and everything finally started coming together. I absolutely LOVE Jack’s teaching style and the humor he injects into his videos.

I passed my exam first try and it actually felt quite easy because I knew the material. Highly recommend and I will be coming back when I decide to pick up my other lines of licenses!

This course was truly helpful! I am a terrible test taker, so I knew no matter what I was not going to pass this test on the first try. And I didn’t which was totally fine because I was super close. I went back for round 2 and failed again by a hair. That’s when I felt like I wasn’t maybe understanding everything, so I reached out to AP, and they sent me some helpful tips and what I needed to study up on a little more. And it worked I went back, and the 3rd try I passed my test. Did I pass first or second try no, but I passed and that’s all that matters. Especially being that Arizona’s P&C is one of the hardest states to pass in. So, shout out to Morton and Nancy for a wonderful and very informational course!!!

The lectures were great and kept my attention. I tried to take the state test online- don’t recommend that for sure.
Do I went in person and PASSED on the first try!

It did take me about twice as long to get through the course than some others. I would read the materials, then listen to the lectures (at 1.5x speed) followed by the tests. For review I did some of the tests again and reread part of the material. It worked for me, scored a 92%. At this time in my life (over 55) I will take it. Thank you Jack, you did a wonderful job! I am so happy that I chose your courses to take.

How To Pass

The information on the exams is challenging, and the material covered is not common knowledge. Following AP’s course study guide (included with each course) will give you the best chances of passing your exam on the first try.

Here is what AP recommends, based on our decades of experience:

  • Watch all course lectures in order while highlighting and taking notes on our instructor’s key points to remember. Replay any videos you didn’t understand.
  • Understand the content well enough to score at least 90% on chapter quizzes. Your first attempt at a quiz will tell you how well you are comprehending the materials.
  • Take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the course. The longer you wait, the more you will forget.
  • Check for course updates before testing.
